a guy is supposed to be wearing his garment above his ankles, the tragedy is that a girl is doing that.. a person who smokes/drinks/dopes is supposed to be the coolest of the group, and the one who stops them form doing so is an orthodox/backward… a deceiver is considered smart and a honest is considered a fool… the person who makes fun of others is the stud of the group, and those who keep silent are the sad ones of the group… going to a movie/disco, one doesnt think of money..however when it comes to charity, a thought of becoming poor crosses our mind… when we go for drives/walks, we dont think of the distance… however when it comes to going for islamic talks/or for salaah we think its too far.. teasing other’s mothers/sisters is considered a part and parcel of life.. however considered haram/hated when some one does it to their own mothers/sisters… flirting with other people’s mother/sister is ok.. however when same thing is done by their mother/sister its haram.. we are humble with strangers..and equally arrogant with our loved ones… revealer of others secrets is considered a well wisher and an eye opener…however considered a betrayer of trust when being on the recieving end… the less clothes a girl wears the more ‘INN’/rich/famous/modest shes considered…however if she covers herself shes considered backward/immodest… the more girlfriends, a guy has, the more he becomes a source of admiration and inspiration and is like another nail in his board… a guy with a goatie/french/shaved is considered a dude however a guy with beard is considered a terrorist.. we sleep in an hour lecture on Islam however we see a 3 hours movie with time passing by… The Words of Allah , Most High: ” Verily, you will not guide everyone whom you love, but Allah guides whom He wills and He knows best those who Will guided” (Qur’an 28:56) ponder over some of these statements … you’ll be amazed.
