The new Gregarion Calendar has started (it has nothing to do with Muslims, since we follow the Islamic Lunar calendar ) – and I have decided (if even for a little while ) to rise from my imposed hibernation. Is … Continue reading
ASHAMED !!!!! I think, my views are totally echoed in the following link.
I hear sisters who don’t wear hijab, but feel they are better than the sisters who do wear hijab, but with make up, tight clothes, hair showing etc ~ to them I say, follow what your Allah has ordered you to do first. Dress how he has asked you to, cover your aura how he has instructed you, and leave the judging to Him, for HE alone, has the right to judge anyone. Do not use this cause, as an excuse so as not to embrace a part of the muslimah’s identity.
Remember, shaitaan lurks around every muslimah ever so zestfully … His ultimate goal is to lure her into sin. The graver the sin, the more the reward for him.
For sisters, who wish to embrace the hijab but have been fighting their own little battle between, pleasing the world and pleasing Allah ~ encourage them. May they find peace in the path chosen by Allah for them. Ameen
For sisters, who are drifting (just like the sister in the below video) ~ make dua, lots of dua, that Allah swt makes her nafs stronger than the whispers of the wretched shaitaan.
It was in the blessed month of Ramadhan, that the Quran was revealed to Prophet Mohammed. (Peace and blessings be upon him)
The first word uttered was ” Iqra ” ~ meaning “READ” or RECITE.
Read: to understand the meaning of written symbols
Recite: to verbally repeat from memory (read aloud)
Muslims, young and old, have been encouraged to seek knowledge ~ to broaden their horizons with reference to this beautiful deen of Islam.
Sadly, muslims, are too preoccupied in hoarding worldly knowledge so as to attain higher degrees in science, maths and engineering, so as to attain better salaries and fulfill their worldly desires ~ while totally neglecting to seek knowledge of the one book, that will eventually, be the ONLY source of “respite” and intervention for him/her in his/her grave !!!!
Because, parents have been idly following traditions, they prefer their offspring to continue doing so. The Asian upbringing is not the best, to say the least. We demand our children, not question, any traditional values ~ Centuries of misinformed people, who never once tried to “understand” and “apply” what the Quran preached ~ what the hadiths enlightened us with, never reached so many more of us. We have been swimming in a tide of bidaah and we fiercely support them !! We are a naïve lot and what’s worse is that we are an arrogant lot, at that .
The one who guides us to the righteous path, has to be lamented, his motives, questioned and his image, tarnished.
This is how low we have stooped. We, the ummah of Rasool Allah, sallallahi wa sallam 😦
Here is an example of a ‘top notch’ bidaah.
23 rakaahs of Taraveeh in 7 minutes !!!!!!
Now that we are aware of how the situation is over there, Can I request ANY aalim in this country/state/city to please reach out to our brothers and sisters and guide them in the right ways. I am sure, these people have good intentions but have NEVER researched their own religion. Instead they have accepted age-old traditional practices.
May Allah swt give them hidayah and guidance. Ameen
Assalam Alai kum brothers and sisters.
I am back from my self-imposed haitus, having just recently commenced a new venture ~ realized It was depleting most my time. Hence decided to grab the opportunity in this Ramadhan.
Trust you all have been well, and reaping the many benefits of the month of Ramadhan
The below video was disturbing PERIOD !!
Since when did Allah swt like extravagance ??? It worries me to think, that we have millions of children in our neighboring countries, going without food and clean water, and we tend to just brush it under the carpet and enjoy such lavish feasts.
What has happened to this Ummah ???
I am totally dumbfounded. Such scenes worry me, for Allah swt never loosens his wrath on an ummah, until he has first send his messenger to warn them.
Sadly, THIS is the ummah of the last messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) and what would he have felt, seeing this ??? Too many hadiths to this effect, about how he warned us against extravagance and to lead a simple, moderate life, leading by his own example.
Gone are the times when a entire community could eat a simple meal of bread and make shukr of the Creator, who provided it.
Today, simplicity has been replaced by extravagance and a glittery lifestyle. Lavish carpets, elaborate meals (part of which is dumped !!) and decorations in the millions ~ where is the Ummah of Mohammed (sallallahu alaihi wa sallam) ?
Surely exuberance is not a part of muslim life.
May Allah swt guide us in the righteous path ! ameen.
Exactly, in contrast to the above video ~ is the reality of what our ” saum” was “supposed to” teach us, in the following video.
May Allah swt have mercy on the less fortunate and guide us all. Ameen
This victimization has been carried out systematically for generations upon generations. So it does not surprise me to see a democratic government throwing down its Hindu fundamentalist governments’ radical principles’ down the throat of tens of thousands of Muslims in India.
Isn’t it ironic, that a Muslim country like Dubai, allows its residents and expat community to enjoy the benefit of coexisting in harmonious relationship with hundreds of nationalities and religions, even the added benefit of purchasing alcohol and pork from certain supermarkets, while a ‘DEMOCRATIC’ country like India, imposes what its citizen’s CAN AND CANNOT eat ~ just so as NOT to hurt the sentiments of the Hindu population.
Just like there are several Muslims, who indulge in alcohol, we have hundred’s of non-muslims, who relish beef and mutton. How does the sentiment of one particular community take priority over the sentiments of another group of communities ?? On what basis ? The Government has NEVER been able to ban the sale of alcohol or cigarettes ~ which have been proved to be the key figure to cause several fatal diseases, yet it addresses a baseless issue of ‘meat consumption’ as its priority !!
First they paid the ‘week’ Muslims to embrace idol worship and now this large mob tortures a Muslim man who had to transport a cow from point a to point b to get him to say, Jai Sri Ram.
But, the accused, even if he was a defaulter, was inhumanly punished during a mob trial. The mob not only ganged up to ‘teach’ him a lesson, but also hurled communal abuses and dared him to convert and asked him if he would eat pork.
What is this brutality if not human rights violation ?
Is the police system so impotent that any group of people can easily take law in his own hands ? Not one news channel has picked on this atrocity ~ leave aside highlight it on headlines !!
Considering I am my Hindu counterpart, my feelings resonate as ” Ok so Beef-ban in Maharashtra beacuse it hurts my religious sentiment. But my religious seentiments gets hurt only when Indians eat, I have no problem when people from Russian, China and Arab Countries will eat it. Hence I have only banned it in Maharashtra, and however will continue to export to Middle east, China, Russia etc etc.
India one of the largest beef exporting country, one of the biggest U-turn taken by BJP government post 16 May – 2014. They have campaigned Pin…k revolution (end of beef export) before lok sabha election. However in just 9 months India’s beef export has grown by sound 16% post 16 May-2014. So I will continue to export it, because it generates revenue and it did not hurt my religious sentiment as it is eaten by non-Indians.
Beef exports grown up by 16% post 16 May-2014.
Whenever animals gets slaughteted, its skin goes to a Leather factory. But people who are demanding this ban should stop wearing Leather shoes, belts, purse. In places where people can’t kill healthy animals, they injure them, their legs or even poision them, not for Burger King but for Leather.
And also in new budget excise duty has been reduced on leather items, so you can were more leathers.

Its not at all religious ban, its a political and taken conisdering high deemand of beef in overseaase countries to gain more money..!!
Can they stop exporting it to oversease??
This video put me to shame deeply. And this is NOT the first time, that I have noticed, extravagance and lavishly laid food, being dumped at the end of the day.
I understand, how sometimes, food get leftover after a marriage celebration or after a party, but I don’t believe, it needs to be dumped. Every city has areas, which, the less privileged inhabit. Why cant this food be packaged to them ? There are animals and birds too, who can benefit with it. But throwing precious food is NO option.
I wonder how the Prophet (sallallahu wa alaihi wa salam) would react to this !! Why have we lost fear of Allah swt who is so totally displeased with wastage ?? May we not displease Allah almighty so much that he may bear his wrath on us. Ameen
